William Hallett Print - Memory of Midcoast Maine
Hunter Thomas continues the Nancy Thomas Gallery legacy of supporting artists from all over the world. With this tradition, we are proud to showcase the work of Maine artist, William Hallett.
William Hallett is a painter who has lived in coastal Maine for the past 25 years, but spent his childhood and adolescence in Mexico City. The unusual color combinations typical of Mexico have influenced his painting style to include an element of surprise in his coastal subject matter, where sky, land, and water meet.
We offer giclee reproductions of larger original paintings by William Hallett each signed by the artist. This reproduction method is widely accepted in the art world by serious collectors and galleries because of its faithfulness to the colors of the original. The printing uses real pigment and not toner as used by digital reproduction.
