Care Instructions for JOAN TATUM pottery

Care suggestions: While this pottery is food safe, oven safe, freezer safe and microwave safe, it can not be compared to contemporary products such as Pyrex. We suggest handwashing & drying. Redware is more porous than manufactured pottery and will absorb water if left to soak for an extended period of time. If this happens, it could leave watermarks on furniture, become excessively hot in the mircrowave, or crack in the freezer. If you feel it has become waterlogged, turn the item upside down and let it air dry thoroughly.

Proper care of your Joan Tatum pottery will ensure it lasts for generations.
