On October 13th 1775, the Continental Congress established what is now the United States Navy. After the Revolutionary War, the United States Constitution empowered the new Congress "to provide and maintain a navy."  On April 30, 1798, Congress established the Department of the Navy.

In 1972, Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt officially declared October 13th as the U.S. Birthday.

Nancy's time honored art presented on water-resistant, fade-resistant canvas, printed with eco-solvent, archival ink then hand-stretched over a 2" deep wooden frame. Finished on the back with an artist bio and ready to hang.

10"x10"x2". (blue sides)

The side colors may vary from what is pictured but will always be complementary to the print.
